Health & Safety Policy

You must use the main entrance to the studio when entering or leaving.

In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the member of staff, leave the studio via the main entrance of the studio, follow the clearly marked emergency exit signs and congregate at the assembly point; X.

Any reasonable requests by a member of staff in relation to matters of health and safety must be adhered to.

All temporary measures (such as our Covid-19 policy) or messages related to health and safety will take precedence over any existing measures.

You must complete a liability waiver as requested by Train Yard Fitness before attending a class or using the fitness facilities. This will state that you are in a fit and healthy condition to take part in the class/session.

You should seek instruction or advice if you have any injury or concerns over exercises in the fitness class.

You should seek instruction before using unfamiliar equipment.

Appropriate clean exercise clothing and trainers must be worn while exercising.

All equipment is cleaned before each class. We ask that you clean your equipment before and after use with the cleaning products provided.

Please arrive on time for your class or personal training session.

You may not attend Train Yard while under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication which may affect your ability to exercise safely.

You must have pre-booked a class or training session to participate.

We operate a late cancellation charge policy. If you cancel your class within 12 hours of the class start time or are absent from your class then you will lose the class.

We ask you to arrive ready for the class.

Once the class has started we reserve the right not to permit entry to the class.

Please follow the instructions and demonstrations provided by the member of staff during your class/session. If you have any questions then please make sure that you ask before carrying out any exercises.

An instructor may, at any time ask you to leave a class if you are jeopardising the safety or enjoyment of other participants.
