Where is Train Yard located?
Train Yard Clapham, is under the railway arches on Lendal Terrace. The closest station is Clapham North Underground, with Clapham High Street (Overground), Stockwell (Victoria Line), and Clapham Common (Northern Line) nearby and easily accessible by foot.
What do I need to bring to a class?
Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and wear suitable clothing and trainers.
Do you have any classes for beginners?
Yes, all our classes are suitable for all levels. We can adjust exercises to match your ability, and we pride ourselves on being inclusive.
Do you have water?
We’re plastic-free, so we don’t sell plastic bottles. However, we have a water fountain for refills and sell reusable Train Yard bottles.
Do you have changing facilities?
Yes, we have both male and female changing facilities.
Do you have towels?
Yes, we provide complimentary shower and sweat towels.
Do you have showers?
Yes, our showers are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
Can I bring my bike?
No bikes aren’t allowed in the studio for health and safety reasons. There are bike lock spaces near to both studios.
Are you dog friendly?
Casper, our gym dog and team member, is here most days, so whilst we are very dog friendly, we ask you not to bring your own dogs to the studio. This is mainly because of space but also to ensure the classes are not disrupted and Casper can chill in peace.
Can I train if I’m pregnant?
Congratulations! Yes, you can attend our classes. Please consult your doctor first and inform the instructor at the beginning of the class so they can adjust exercises for you

Bookings & Waitlist
How do I book a class?
The best way to book a class is via our app (Train Yard) on apple and android. Or by heading over to our schedule and selecting the class you would like to attend – this will then take you through to the payment page.
How far in advance can I book a class?
With a class pack, you can book 30 days in advance; with a membership, 40 days. Classpass bookings open one week prior.
How do waitlists work?
If you join a waitlist, you’ll be added to the class if a spot opens up. Make sure you have credits available; otherwise, you’ll be emailed to confirm your spot.

Can I pause my membership?
If you are on a 6 month commitment membership you can pause your membership once per 6 months for a month. If you are on a 3 month commitment membership you are unable to pause your membership.

How will I be billed?
You’ll be billed monthly from your sign-up date. It’s a rolling subscription and will be taken automatically.
How do I end my membership?
You can cancel at any point after you have served your selected commitment time. Cancel your membership by emailing hello@trainyardgyms.co.uk
What’s your minimum membership term?
Our minimum term is three months, then it’s a rolling contract.
Can I carry my membership credits over to the next month?
No, credits renew at the beginning of each billing cycle and don’t carry over.
Cancellations/Late Policy
What is Train Yard’s cancellation policy?
Members (Unlimited & 8 Class) can cancel for free up to 10 hours before the class. For class packs, it’s 12 hours. Late cancellations incur an £8 fee. You can move your booking to another class that day if you email at least two hours before your original class.
What happens if I’m late for a class?
There’s a five-minute grace period, but after that, you can’t join the class for health & safety reasons.
What is Train Yards late cancellation policy?
We operate a strict 10 hour cancellation policy at Train Yard. If you cancel less than 10 hours before your class start time you will be charged £8.00.
What happens if I don’t show up to my booked class?
You’ll be charged a £12 no-show fee. If you have a class pack or 8-credit membership, you’ll also lose a credit.
